Supply Demand Manager : El Segundo, CA : Full-time

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated  Supply Demand Manager, Soft Goods for our client, Manduka,  to develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution for current and future product lines. This position is intrinsic to the successful running of the soft goods business. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Operations. 

The Supply Demand Manager, Soft Goods builds and leverages strong cross-functional relationships to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. The Supply Demand Manager, Soft Goods owns development, communication, and execution of product demand and supply plans. Manduka is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude.


  • Forecast demand, inventory and multi-channel sell-in and sell through

  • Analyze forecasted demand, inventory, and channel and direct sell-through to develop and handle weekly and quarterly supply plans

  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans

  • Report inventory availability, risk and opportunities

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Product and Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions

  • Present updates and recommended actions to executive management team, as needed

  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process and drive to completion

  • Communicate directly with vendors on ship schedules and delivery status, as needed

  • Purchase supply in accordance with turn goals and manufacturing MOQs

  • Organize and lead month-end forecast and product sales reporting

  • Analyze and communicate cross functionally supply plans and forecasts on product plans

  • Interface with and test new technologies to support forecasting and planning processes


  • Prior experience in complex quantitative analysis.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of amenity in working with numbers

  • General knowledge of product development processes

  • Experience working with an ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP, ORACLE


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, in a technical field preferred

  • 3+ years operations experience, preferably in the textile or technology industry

  • Advanced excel skills including ability to build visualization (graphing in Excel) with data/reporting; Tableau a bonus

  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills to manage and track transactional details

  • Track record of good working relationships

  • Experience in managing deadlines and deliverables

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Fluency in English; Mandarin a plus
