Ecommerce Manager : El Segundo, CA : Full-time

The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and operations for .com across mobile and desktop. Reporting to the Director of Digital, this role will manage revenue targets, operational efficiency and project launches. The Ecommerce Manager will also be responsible for the online product merchandising and site navigation. Partnering with Marketing, Creative, Sales and Planning teams, the Ecommerce Manager will maximize sales on the site, as well as working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to increase new customers, retain existing customers and increase conversion, traffic and revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Strategy

·        Responsible for achieving the direct revenue plan, gross profit and net income targets on a monthly and annual basis.

·        Work in partnership with Planning, Creative, Sales and Marketing teams to coordinate seasonal and monthly product marketing strategies

·        Maintain online content calendar to ensure website and messaging is consistent with monthly and seasonal campaigns

·        Own the selling and promotional strategy throughout the site to drive products and trends, including the homepage and digital channels

·        Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to create consistent and key messaging on-site and through all marketing channels

·        Partner with the Email Marketing Manager on CRM efforts to maximize the lifetime value of existing customers, retention and loyalty

·        Manage the homepage and other content areas, optimizing to ensure customer engagement

Visual Merchandising

·        Lead a data-driven Merchandising strategy, new category, collection, and product launches on-site

·        Partner with Planning and Sales Channels to manage inventory allocation per season in accordance with the seasonal revenue budget

·        Work with the Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to make sure categories are consistently merchandised and updated

·        Liaison between offline and online asset management to ensure accurate file management and usage

·        Partner the Digital Product Manager on A/B testing and optimization to continuously test on the site and manage the optimization schedule

Site Improvements & Development

·        Work with the Digital Product Manager to establish ongoing site optimization, product navigation, changes and enhancements to improve customer journey and experience

·        Conduct ongoing 360-degree audits of the direct-to-consumer experience, ensuring real-time feedback with consumers and ensuring every touch point from purchase through delivery is exceptional

·        Manage relationships and roadmaps with third party vendors including the development team, email service provider, and other agencies

·        Champion best practices across the site and marketing channels

Site Insights & Analytics

·        Consistently review, assess, and own KPIs to ensure growth goals are achieved

·        Regularly report and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reporting to key business partners and executives

·        Lead insights to Planning, Marketing, Sales and Creative teams to optimize sales from each area

·        Continuously research and implement new technologies / applications that help improve or optimize the online consumer experience

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

·        Mobile-first mindset with a strong understanding of ecommerce marketing, direct-to-consumer business, website and Google Analytics

·        Ability project manage with strong understanding of website programming and development

·        Experience creating, executing and evaluating online marketing campaigns including Email, Paid Search / SEO, Advertising, Paid Social Media

·        Proficient in HTML, CCS, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite

·        Strong knowledge in handling optimized, digital image files

·        Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing

·        Process-oriented and passion for details, finishing projects with a deadline, on time

·        Ability to work independently, highly organized with clear and concise communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

·         5+ years’ experience in direct-to-consumer online marketing, including direct management of ecommerce teams

·        Strong analytic and project management skills. Ability to drive reporting and decision making within direct reports as well as other departments.

·        Ecommerce Platform Management experience. Magento Experience a plus

·        Time management, prioritization, organizing skills, attentiveness, accuracy in performance

·        Effective presentation of information and strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Prefer strong knowledge of fitness / lifestyle market, including knowledge of competitors, consumers and retailers

·        B2B Digital Commerce experience a plus

·        Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, information technology or marketing
