Account Manager/Product Manager - Accessories

This role will drive the strategic account development with national retailers to round out their accessory business, with a focus on belts and handbags. Strong sales, presentation and follow up on orders are a key part of the role. This is a great chance to be involved in a growing mid-sized Bay Area company that has an eye for exceptional product and private label brand collaboration.


  • Responsible for the strategy, product development, and sales for the company’s top accounts
  • Manage product development each season for the firm’s clients focusing on price point and aesthetic
  • Forecast sales annually and continually re-visit reporting to ensure sales forecast is accurate and up to date
  • Collaborate with design team on handbag and belt development seasonally  
  • Manage calendars for the season by account to make sure company is meeting expectations and time-lines
  • Conduct cost negotiations and pricing strategies with oversea suppliers
  • Seasonally meet with clients to present new product and identify new business opportunities
  • Attend competitive shopping trips domestically and abroad to analyze trend, price point & products in the market
  • Manage and develop Assistant Merchandiser
  • Domestic and overseas travel required for clients meetings and product development and trade-shows
