Provide Marketing leadership with a focus on revenue generation, customer acquisition (wholesale and direct) and customer retention. Lead the Marketing and Creative teams to execute programs that are aligned with our operating plan and strategic initiatives. Partner closely with Product and Sales teams to ensure all programs are aligned with product and sales strategies. Create marketing strategy that supports sales in all channels and all markets. Drive evolution of brand campaigns and brand experience to adapt to changes in consumer landscape. Develop and execute seasonal and product launch strategies. Lead development of new product initiatives including online yoga subscriptions.

Responsibilities

·        Drive strategic planning processes, collaborating closely with Product and Sales leaders for all regions

·        Anticipate and implement changes necessary to strategy and execution to support the rapid growth of the company

·        Develop and execute marketing strategies that build consumer awareness and create demand for our products in all channels

·        Build on our existing authority and engagement within the community of teachers, ambassadors and influencers

·        Ensure brand consistency for marketing programs and communications across all customer experience touch points, including product, digital, social, online, print and direct mail

·        Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, partners and vendors, demonstrating collaboration, alliance building and teamwork. Lead effort in developing strategic partnerships.

·        Provide strong partnership to Sales leaders in influencing ecommerce strategies and digital product innovations

·        Working with VP, Sales & GM, lead marketing development programs for key accounts which include Amazon, REI, DSG, Equinox, Lifetime Fitness, CorePower Yoga, YogaWorks and Modo Yoga among others

·        Lead development of our strategic initiative to build project:OM and all initiatives related to becoming a purpose-led company

·        Lead PR activities, managing external PR agencies and providing guidance on seasonal outreach initiatives

·        Utilize market research studies and analysis to inform development of innovative marketing programs

·        Partner with Product on development of segmentation strategies for pricing and distribution within brand framework

·        Provide strong leadership to Marketing and Creative teams, translating marketing objectives into creative strategies

·        Manage the entire operating budget for the marketing function to deliver both the company’s top line revenue targets, gross margin and profit targets

·        Evaluate and track key metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activations

Qualifications

·        10+ years of experience successfully leading marketing and/or ecommerce teams

·        Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively partner with and influence others without formal authority

·        Proven track record of innovating and executing new media marketing tactics for wholesale and DTC ecommerce channels through social, digital, CRM and direct response

·        Performance driven; demonstrated creativity and ingenuity in development and execution of successful marketing strategies that align with product initiatives and impact business growth

·        Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders; integrates into the culture and works collaboratively with global teams

·        Builds high performing teams. Strong ability to motivate a team while fostering a strong and positive environment. Engages team members to develop plans and resolve issues.

·        Superior analytical and decision-making skills that translate into executable strategies

·        Seasoned marketing experience working in wholesale and ecommerce environments; consumer goods industry preferred

·        Strong understanding of the yoga, fitness and/or wellness space

·        Committed to driving social impact authentically

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills

·        BA/BS in Marketing, Business or related field, MBA preferred

·        Ability to travel 30%
