The Account Manager will be supporting in the daily management of items/collections for a specific category within the sales department. Reporting directly to the division’s Sales Director and working alongside other Account Managers & Sales Associates, the Account Manager will ensure accuracy in the ordering process while facilitating communication between retailers and the category division.

Maintains detailed assortment lists (straight list) and practices exception based management, identifying issues and recommending solutions to the Sales Director
Assists Sales Director in the execution of all related merchandising & sales activities including creating and placing proformas, monitoring and tracking orders, and communicates any order revisions to the necessary departments.
Participates in creating strategies for life of item from initial sale to markdown. Reviews sales performance and makes recommendations to adjust in season or future plans.
Assists Sales Director and other stakeholders in developing assortments and quantifying buys, meeting timing needs with regards to merchandising delivery
Assists Sales Director in reviewing inventory buys, positions or issues with internal partners in Planning & Allocation. Make sure all retail buys are congruent and set up for ecommerce. Works with Sales Associate to order samples for ecommerce product shots.
Communicates product attributes for systems set up; ensures the product is available to stakeholders in all utilized systems.
Act as liaison for between the retail buying office and TTU relative to marketing, pricing, signing,
Monitors competitor merchandising and shares findings with stakeholders
College degree or equivalent business experience
2-6+ years merchandising experience; preferably with a large organization in a similar role Proficient in MS word and Excel
Ability to recognize, analyze and quantify market trends

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Previous retail or wholesale experience
