We are searching for an experienced and proven sales candidate to become the new Head of Sales for a successful women’s clothing designer & manufacturer in downtown Los Angeles.
· Drive business development by reaching out to prospective customers via phone, email and social media
· Own responsibility for achieving sales goals and delivering on business development objectives
· Monitor & follow up on key strategies (new introductions, product category initiatives, sales promotion, visual merchandise enhancements)
· Together with sales channels and marketing team, develop seasonal sales strategies, initiatives around key holidays to drive business
· Assisting the sales team in identifying potential partners and locations, initiating discussions, and participating in negotiations to establish new business.
· Monitor development/expansion of the competition in the market
· Lead the sales department including attract, develop and retain a strong sales team.
· Show leadership through continuous coaching, feedback and support.
· Strong buyer relationships within the US & European market
· Strong communication and leadership skills
· Proven ability to drive business initiatives
· Strong negotiation skills and experience in building strategic plans and developing new and current businesses
· Experience with leading a high-performance team
